Plumber prices in Singapore — what work starts from, and how a quote is built
These are the from-rates we quote day to day in HDB flats, condominiums and landed homes. Simple jobs are quoted from a WhatsApp photo. Anything concealed, or needing fixtures replaced, is quoted after a $50 site survey — and the price is confirmed before work starts.
What each kind of work starts from
"From" is the starting level for that type of job, not a fixed price. Parts are quoted separately and agreed with you before anything is fitted.

What the $50 site survey covers
- Attendance at your unit during Mon–Sat 08:00–17:00.
- Inspection of the affected fitting, drain or pipe run.
- A written-scope conversation: what we will do, and what we will not.
- A confirmed price for the work, before anything is opened or removed.
What changes the price
- Access. A trap behind a fixed cabinet or a cistern in a tight service yard takes longer than an open one.
- What is concealed. Pipework inside a wall or floor is surveyed, then quoted — never guessed at.
- Parts. Cartridges, valves, connectors and pan collars vary in price; you approve the part before fitting.
- How far the run goes. A long branch run or a shared stack is a different job from a single trap.
- Age of the installation. Older joints and fittings sometimes need renewal as well as repair.

Pricing questions we get asked
Do you charge a call-out fee on top of the survey?
No. The site survey from $50 is the attendance and the assessment. After it you get a scope and a price. We do not add charges afterwards, and we do not start work on a number you have not agreed.
Why are your prices "from" and not fixed?
Because a choke in a 4-room flat and a choke in a landed property with a long branch run are not the same job. The from-rate tells you the level that kind of work starts at; the confirmed price for your job is what you agree before we begin.
Do you supply parts and fixtures?
We fit what you have bought, or we quote the part for you to approve first. Either way the part price is agreed with you before fitting — and if a part turns out not to be needed, you do not pay for it.
How does pricing work for concealed pipework?
Concealed work is surveyed before anything is opened. If opening up is required, you approve that number first, and if the scope changes once we are in, we stop and re-quote rather than carry on.
Is there a difference in price by area?
No. The from-rates are the same islandwide, whether the job is in Jurong, Tampines, Woodlands, Punggol or Ang Mo Kio.
